Funding You're Core Requirements

So, a charities needs aren't just staff and resources, a fundamental element of any charities resources are the environments they operate programmes in. From office's and meeting room's to consultation rooms and training spaces, every charity needs these resources to be readily available and fit for purpose. But many charities find these core costs are difficult to secure funding for, and are often not included in funding secured for programmes, which puts pressure on unrestricted income and reserves.  Well we've found a couple of funding pots which might be available for you. Especially if it's just small fixes you need to complete to make your environments fit for porpose.

Screwfix Foundation

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to local charities and not for profit organisations for projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for of those in need in the UK. The funding is being made available through the Screwfix Foundations and the grants are available for all kinds of projects.

 

Funding to Boost the Capacity of Charities (UK)

Capital grants of up to £250,000 are available to expand the capacity of UK registered charities and CIO’s working to improve the quality of life for people in need, particularly those living on very low incomes who have a disability or long-term illness. The Edward Gostling Foundation makes the funding available through its Capital Grant Programme.
