Achieving Your Vision in 2022

So as we head into a new year, we know many charities will be thinking about how they achieve their vision in 2022, so here are some of our top tips for achieving your goals.

Clear Vision and Objectives

• It’s important not only the organisation has a clear vision, and objectives. The vision should be set out in partnership with the board, and inline with the charities Terms of Reference.

• Objectives should be set at all levels and joined up. So the objectives that front line staff have should be aligned the organisations objectives.

Set Clear Goals & KPI’s

• Goals should be SMART and should be set in partnership with staff and volunteers.

• KPI’;s should help the organisations understand priorities and expectations, KPI’;s enable staff to understand what they should be aiming for and how they can do the right thing for the organisation..

Clear Financial Planning

• All departments should have clear financial goals, these should include income and expenditure targets.

• Organisations should have clear policies in place to manage levels of authority, and procedures to manage payment processes.

• Monthly reporting should be ij place to help budget holders manage spending.

Policies and Procedures

• Consider reviewing all your policies to ensure they are up to date
